Jayne Trcka gained recognition for her iconic role in Scary Movie (2000) as Miss Mann. News has emerged that the actress died early last month at the age of 62, at her home in San Diego, California. She was also a prominent figure in the world of bodybuilding.
A spokesperson from the San Diego Medical Examiner’s office told the media, “There was trauma to the body, but we wouldn’t be able to indicate cause of death at this time.”
According to reports, she was found in her kitchen by a friend who had gone to check on her after she failed to respond to calls.
Trcka’s son was reportedly unaware of any health issues or medical conditions that might have contributed to her sudden passing. Her death has come as a shock to many and left countless broken hearts in its wake. Beyond her role in Scary Movie, she was well-known in bodybuilding circles. In the 1980s, she not only competed professionally but also appeared in several fitness magazines, including Flex, MuscleMag International, and Women’s Physique World.
