Meghan Markle has again found herself in the spotlight after an online discussion about her went viral. At the center of it is a side-by-side comparison of two photos of her taken eight years apart, sparking renewed debate about her appearance and possible plastic surgery.
A viral post on X, which has gained more than 300,000 views, has triggered fresh discussion about Meghan Markle’s looks. The post, comparing two images of the Duchess of Sussex taken roughly eight years apart, has users pointing to differences in her hairline, face, and overall appearance.
It has led to speculation that Meghan Markle may have undergone cosmetic procedures, while others defend the former Suits actress, arguing that several other factors could explain the changes.
“Nobody looks the same after eight years,” one person wrote.
“The shape of her jaw has changed. Is this through surgery?” another added.
A third claimed, “The jawline is different beyond just weight/aging. She used to have a slight underbite. It looks like some correction has been made to that.”
Meghan Markle’s ‘changing appearance’ raises eyebrows
While some suggested she may have had procedures, others pointed to the popular weight-loss medication Ozempic.
“Looks like GLP drugs. She looks to be ill,” one commenter claimed.
Another wrote, “This is called Ozempic face in the beauty industry, and there is no cosmetic procedure to improve it—only fat ‘injection,’ but it has a very low success rate and is only short term. Better to be curvy and have fat in the face than skinny and looking older and sick.”
“Is she on Ozempic? Way underweight!” another user wrote. However, there is no confirmation that Meghan has undergone any procedure or taken Ozempic. Some users also pointed out that she has been through two pregnancies.
She gave birth to her and Prince Harry’s first child, Archie, in 2019, and their daughter, Lilibet, in 2021.
“She gave birth twice, remember?” one supporter wrote.
Plastic surgery speculation
Another added, “Y’all are literally comparing a pregnancy and postpartum photo. Many women lose hair along the hairline after having children. She still looks great, and it makes your *** itch that you have to dig so deep to find a flaw in her face to make yourself feel better about yourself.”
Others suggested that stress could also be a factor in her changing appearance. With ongoing media attention, public scrutiny, and tensions between her family and the royals, some believe stress may have contributed to differences in her appearance over the past eight years.
While speculation continues, a plastic surgeon previously weighed in back in 2018. Speaking to Closer Magazine, Dr. Adam Hamawy said Meghan “appears to still have the same nose she was born with.” He added that “any differences I’ve seen are easily accounted for by facial expression, makeup, or lighting.”
