Karoline Leavitt left her role as White House Press Secretary a few weeks ago. After it was made official, a video of her having a ‘tense argument’ with Donald Trump and his loyal aide Natalie Harp hours before her resignation was uncovered. Now, a lip reader has revealed what was really said.
Karoline Leavitt left he role as White House Press Secretary in mid-August. She explained that the reason was to spend more time with her family; however, it didn’t take long for the internet to speculate about another theory.
A leaked video of Leavitt with Donald Trump, shot just hours before her resignation, has raised questions about whether an argument could’ve been the reason for Leavitt resigning
In the footage, Leavitt appears to be involved in a tense exchange with Donald Trump and his political aide, Natalie Harp, after boarding Marine One.
Leavitt is seen sitting across from Trump, and at one point, she appears to speak directly to Harp before yawning and pointing in her direction.
Moreover, both Karoline Leavitt and Natalie Harp are seen looking at their phones during the exchange. The video quickly spread online, with some viewers claiming that Leavitt appeared uncomfortable or worried.
Karoline Leavitt’s blunt remark to Natalie Harp during ‘tense’ exchange
One user who posted the clip on X wrote, “In a LEAKED video from last night, she looks visibly isolated during a tense Marine One exchange with Trump and another woman. Hours later, she’s out. Is the WH covering up something?”
“A tense exchange between Karoline Leavitt and Natalie Harp and Donald Trump on Marine One last night. Today, Karoline Leavitt was fired,” a second claimed.
A third added, “Karoline Leavitt seen looking visibly worried. Unaware the camera is recording. She urgently gets on her phone after the signal. Then today she is out. What is really happening?”
As of now, it is unknown whether the conversation had anything to do with Leavitt’s decision to step down. However, a lip reader has reportedly revealed what was said, and Leavitt didn’t speak to Trump, but to his aide, Natalie Harp.
Lip reader shared details
Speaking to the Express, lip reader Nicola Hickling said Leavitt appeared to ask, “Are you sure?”
Harp allegedly replied: “We don’t like it. There’s going to be an announcement as soon as possible, okay?”
Leavitt then appeared to sigh and rub her arms before pointing toward Harp. Part of what she said is obscured as she leans forward.
Moments later, Harp was reportedly seen saying: “This has now happened twice.” Leavitt appeared to respond with a series of hand gestures as she spoke.
She then leaned back, seemingly pursing her lips as she folded her arms and turned her attention toward Trump.
Harp, meanwhile, raised two fingers and allegedly said: “Twice, as you know.”
Exactly what the conversation was about, we don’t know. However, meanwhile, Natalie Harp has recently found herself in the spotlight for another reason. On Friday, her deeply personal letters, published in full by the Daily Beast, revealed just how loyal she is to him.
Natalie Harp’s personal letter to Donald Trump, revealed
In one letter, she reportedly wrote, “You’re all that matters to me,” while describing herself as “unworthy” of the president.
The letters were allegedly written in 2023, during Trump’s presidential campaign. They came around the time Harp accompanied him on a golf trip to Scotland and Ireland.
At the time, Harp was 31, and Trump was 76. Harp joined Trump’s campaign team in 2022 and has remained a close presence around him since his return to the White House.
Her role reportedly goes far beyond that of an ordinary campaign aide. According to reports, Harp stays up late with Trump while helping draft his social media posts, sends messages to world leaders on his behalf and even has a designated chair outside the Oval Office.
