Now, a Danish politician has gone viral after an explosive rant directed at Trump, telling him to f***k off.
Donald Trump’s threat toward Greenland — extending to Denmark and several NATO allies — has left the world in a tense state. The president’s statements about “taking” Greenland for national security have angered many. Meanwhile, critics argue that exploiting the country’s vast natural resources is the real motive.
Demonstrations with the slogan “Hands off Greenland” were organized last weekend in both Denmark and the Arctic island. Moreover, according to the BBC, opinion polls suggest that 85% of Greenlanders oppose the territory joining the U.S.
Still, Donald Trump appears determined to secure Greenland as American at all costs. On Truth Social, the president wrote, “As I expressed to everyone, very plainly, Greenland is imperative for National and World Security. There can be no going back — On that, everyone agrees!”

Now, one Danish politician has had enough. During a speech to the European Union’s legislative body, the European Parliament, Member of the European Parliament Anders Vistisen criticized Trump, declaring that Greenland is not for sale.
“Dear President Trump, listen very carefully. Greenland has been part of the Danish kingdom for 800 years. It is an integrated country. It is not for sale,” he began.
Vistisen then sharpened his message to the U.S. president.
“Let me put this in words you might understand: Mr. President, f–k off.”
The outburst went viral on social media. Many praised the Danish politician for speaking bluntly about the diplomatic crisis, while others argued that his language was inappropriate.
EU speaker branded it “unacceptable” Vistisen was set to continue speaking in Danish to the European Parliament, but he was interrupted. The presiding speaker said he was being unprofessional.
“I am sorry, this is against our rules,” the speaker told him. “As much as you might feel, or the room might feel in this, we have clear rules about cuss words and language that is inappropriate in this room.”
“I am sorry to interrupt you, but it is unacceptable, even if you might have strong political feelings about this.”
