Corey Harrison, of Pawn Stars fame, is asking fans for help after the exorbitant costs of his medical bills following a motorcycle crash in Mexico.
In January, Corey, 42, was left with 11 fractured ribs, a concussion, and facial injuries as a result of the accident, per TMZ. Life‑threatening complications followed, and Corey was also forced to miss the wedding of his father, Rick Harrison.
Corey, a longtime fixture on the hugely popular Pawn Stars series, told TMZ he checked himself out of the hospital after two weeks because the medical bills were becoming overwhelming.
That decision, he explained, led to further complications. While recovering at his home in Tulum, Mexico, Corey experienced excruciating pain, prompting a house doctor to administer IV fluids and morphine.
When Corey’s oxygen levels dropped dangerously low, he feared he might die. TMZ reports he couldn’t afford to return to the same hospital where he’d previously been treated, so friends took him to a more affordable facility.
There, Corey underwent three surgeries and spent another 18 days hospitalized.

Altogether, the TV star says he has spent nearly $120,000 on medical bills. He told TMZ he has just $400 left in his bank account, having borrowed money from his father and friends to cover expenses.
Corey has since launched a GoFundMe page in hopes that fans will step in to help.
“What am I going to do, fly out to Vegas and sell stuff? I can’t move from my recliner,” he said.
TMZ notes that although he still receives residual checks from Pawn Stars reruns, he is no longer involved with the show.

Meanwhile, his father Rick — who various reports estimate is worth several million dollars — told TMZ: “Corey is a grown man and he will deal with his life as he sees fit.”
