80s supermodel and Dallas star Annabel Schofield has died at the age of 62.

Former model and actress Annabel Schofield has died at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Reports state that the Welsh supermodel and actress, who gained international attention in the 1980s before moving into acting and film production, passed away on February 28 in Los Angeles.

Schofield began her career in London’s fashion industry, rising to become one of the defining faces of 1980s style. The young model appeared on hundreds of international magazine covers and starred in campaigns for brands including Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Rimmel, Revlon, and Boots No. 7.

One of her most memorable moments was in a Bugle Boy Jeans commercial, where she drove through the desert in a black Ferrari and delivered perhaps her most famous line: “Excuse me, are those Bugle Boy jeans you’re wearing?”

Schofield later relocated to the United States, where she transitioned into acting. She is perhaps best known for her role as Laurel Ellis in the popular primetime drama Dallas, appearing in 12 episodes during the show’s 11th season.

Schofield revealed in July 2024 that her cancer had spread to her brain, staying open with fans as she shared updates about her battle and treatments, including surgery in January to remove a nasal tumor.

On January 20, 2026, the model-turned-actress posted that although the surgery had been successful, she was “not out of the woods yet” and was awaiting further MRI results to determine whether additional radiation or chemotherapy would be required.

Schofield is survived only by her mother, having previously lost both her father and her sister Amanda in the years before her death.

Rest in peace, Annabel Schofield.
