Concerns have been raised online after former child YouTube star Piper Rockelle reportedly earned $3.4 million in her first 24 hours on OnlyFans after turning 18.
OnlyFans is a subscription-based platform where creators share exclusive content with paying subscribers, and it has grown significantly in popularity in recent years.
Rockelle’s move into the adult content space has sparked backlash across social media. She built a large following over the years, amassing more than 12 million YouTube subscribers, 18 million TikTok followers, and 6.6 million Instagram followers.
The influencer, who began her online career at just eight years old, reportedly joined the platform shortly after turning 18. According to the Mirror, she later claimed she made $3.4 million within her first day.

Ahead of the launch, Rockelle promoted the announcement on social media, even updating her X bio to read: “the link drops January 1st.” After going live, she shared screenshots allegedly showing her early earnings.
In a since-deleted post, she claimed to have made $1.4 million within the first hour. She later broke down the figures, saying $2 million came from subscriptions, $170,000 from tips, and the rest from paid messages.
“My first day! Forever grateful. What should my first purchase be?” she wrote, according to VT.
Screenshots circulating online appeared to show total earnings closer to $2.9 million, though Rockelle later insisted the 24-hour total reached $3.4 million.
“You’re a victim of predatory capitalism”
The announcement triggered strong reactions online, with many users expressing discomfort over the situation.
“You’re a victim of predatory capitalism,” one user commented, according to VT.
“Extremely disturbing folk that watch child YouTubers and spend money on OF subs as soon as they turn legal age,” another wrote.
Others questioned the ethics of the attention she received, with one person saying, “Just imagine how much of her audience were waiting since she was a literal child?”
“This whole situation is so gross. All the men waiting for her to be legal? Yuck,” another user added.
However, some defended her decision, arguing she is now an adult and should be free to make her own career choices and profit from her platform.
