For 31-year-old Lauren Kaye, finding love with her partner Hannah, 29, should have been a beautiful chapter in their lives. But instead of simply celebrating their commitment, the couple has had to face harsh scrutiny from strangers who judge them based solely on Hannah’s youthful looks.
A Wedding Clouded by Cruelty
When Lauren and Hannah exchanged vows last summer, they hoped their wedding would be filled with joy and positivity. However, their happiness was soon overshadowed by online bullies who bombarded them with harsh comments. Some critics even went as far as accusing Lauren of inappropriate behavior, simply because Hannah appears younger than her actual age.
Despite the negativity, Lauren refuses to let it affect her. “I don’t take it to heart,” she shared in an interview with The Mirror. “People can say what they want, but I know my truth.”
However, while online criticism is easier to ignore, the couple has also faced uncomfortable situations in real life. When they are out together, strangers often assume Lauren is Hannah’s mother, speaking over Hannah as if she isn’t present.
“It does bother me sometimes,” Lauren admitted. “It’s frustrating when people make assumptions without knowing us.”

Hannah, despite being 29, is frequently mistaken for a teenager. Whether she’s purchasing everyday items or receiving home deliveries, she is often asked to provide identification. Some people have even suggested she change her wardrobe to appear older, but Hannah refuses to conform to societal expectations.
“We’re in 2025—there’s no reason I should feel pressured to change my style just to stop people from making rude comments,” Hannah stated confidently.
A Love That Keeps Growing

Lauren and Hannah first connected on Tinder two years ago, quickly realizing they had a strong connection. Their relationship progressed swiftly, with Lauren proposing in early 2024. Just seven months later, they officially tied the knot in a simple yet meaningful ceremony in Surrey, UK.
Now, the couple is embarking on an even bigger adventure—parenthood. Through IVF treatment in Cyprus, they are expecting triplets.
Lauren, already a mother to an 11-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, is thrilled to expand her family. “Becoming a mom again, but this time with Hannah by my side, makes it even more special,” she said.
Their pregnancy journey has been documented on social media, where Lauren recently shared an update. “Woke up to the triplets kicking away—after keeping me up all night with heartburn!” she wrote humorously.
The couple has confirmed that the triplets will be delivered via C-section.

With Hannah losing her job and the triplets at risk of premature birth, the couple was encouraged by their supporters to start a GoFundMe campaign. Initially hesitant, Lauren eventually agreed after receiving an overwhelming number of messages from people wanting to help.
Expressing gratitude, the couple thanked those who had contributed to their wish list and fundraiser. “Even with the negativity, the kindness we’ve received has been incredible,” they wrote.
Looking Toward the Future
While online trolls continue to spread negativity, Lauren and Hannah remain focused on their growing family. Their journey is proof that love is stronger than judgment, and no amount of criticism can shake the foundation they have built together.
